Define a lifecycle for your buckets before it is created on Google Cloud Storage. Customers who don’t define lifecycle and don’t set the lifecycle option for the buckets end up having challenge to clean up the buckets or pay more money by keeping the bucket in Regional storage class when it should be archived to Nearline or Coldline.
