A king was hiring an archer for his army and after months of search he gave up. He went for a hunting in the forest one day and found 100 trees having target drawn on them and an arrow at the center of the target on all the trees. He started to search for the archer in the forest and found a guy with a bow and arrows and asked him if he was the one who hit the arrows at the center of the target on all 100 trees. The man replied that it was him who hit the bull’s-eye on the target. The king was pleased and immediately hired him for his army. The king then asked him how he hit the bull’s-eye on all the target on the trees. The archer replied “First I fire the arrow and then draw the target around it”.

Dedicating this to recruiters and hiring managers who go thru such stuff to find the right candidate.
